Your inspections belong to you. You can delete any of them — or your whole account and every trace of your data — whenever you want. Here's exactly how, and what happens.
Delete a single inspection
- Open SnapProof and go to My inspections.
- Open the inspection you want to remove.
- Tap the ⋯ menu → Delete inspection and confirm.
The photos, alignment data and report for that inspection are permanently removed.
Delete your entire account
- Open SnapProof and go to Settings → Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and all associated data — every photo, report and profile detail — are queued for permanent deletion.
Prefer we do it for you? Email hello@snapstudios.com.au from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account and data". We'll verify it's you and complete the deletion — no in-app steps needed.
What gets deleted
- Your account and login credentials.
- All inspection photos (pickup and return).
- All generated reports and PDFs.
- Alignment data, notes, tags and booking references.
- Your profile details.
What may be briefly retained
After you request deletion, data is removed from active systems immediately and purged from encrypted backups within 30 days. We may retain a minimal record where the law requires (for example, to meet a legal or accounting obligation), strictly limited to that purpose and deleted when no longer needed.
Timeframe
In-app deletions take effect right away. Deletion requests by email are actioned within 30 days, and usually much sooner. We'll email you to confirm once it's done.
Before you delete
Deletion is permanent and can't be undone. If you might still need a report for an open damage claim, export or download it first — once deleted, we can't recover it.
