Getting started
- At pickup — open SnapProof, enter your booking reference, and walk the 8 guided panel shots. It takes under 90 seconds.
- Grant camera & location — both make your report stronger. You can capture without them, but timestamped, GPS-tagged evidence holds up best.
- On return — reopen SnapProof. A ghost wireframe of each pickup photo floats over your live camera. Line it up until the shutter glows green, then capture.
- Get your report — SnapProof compares pickup vs return, flags anything new, and generates a signed PDF you can save or share.
Common questions
When will SnapProof be on the app stores?
SnapProof has been submitted to Google Play and is in review; the App Store version follows shortly. Both launch in 2026. In the meantime you can use the full web app today — add it to your home screen and it behaves just like a native app, offline included.
I forgot to scan at pickup. Am I covered?
Unfortunately no — SnapProof works by comparing a pickup scan to a return scan, so the pickup set is essential. Scan the moment you collect the car; it's the cheapest insurance you'll do all trip.
Will a rental company accept my report?
Reports are timestamped, GPS-tagged, hash-signed, and show pickup and return at matched angles — the same evidence standard operators use internally. We can't guarantee an outcome, but a clear, aligned report is hard to argue with.
What does SnapProof cost?
$5 per scan (one full pickup-and-return inspection) or $95/month for unlimited scans — across cars, motorbikes, trucks, trailers, caravans and motorhomes. No lock-in; cancel anytime. During the closed beta, invited testers scan free.
Does it work for trailers, caravans and motorhomes?
Yes. Pick the category when you start an inspection and SnapProof loads a guided panel set built for it — drawbar, chains and lights on a trailer; awning, gas and interior on a caravan or motorhome.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete individual inspections or your whole account and all data at any time. Full steps are on the Data & account deletion page.
